We made it down to Debbie and Ray's after 76 miles running beside trains all day. Nothing really exciting or of note occurred on the ride other then the fact that it was another hot day and some of Charlie's stuff fell off his bike right as we were getting in (thanks to a kid yelling at us we were able to retrieve it). Debbie made us a really good supper and convinced us to spend the day and go to the beach with them.
We went to Henderson state park beach and the sand and water was just amazing. Apparently when it is less windy the water is even better.
I have yet to figure out the next few days and we may end up winging it.
My Uncle Charlie and I will be biking across the southern USA Starting March 10th. Once reaching CA Charlie will stop but I will then continue north and back across the north. Below is a map that shows an idea of what our route will be, as we are planning it on the road. The map will have uploads of our track as we go. We will greatly appreciate any place to stay and any suggestions of places to visit. Thank you, Austin Fox

ReplyDeleteI'm just catching up on your posts (your mom filled me in on most of the trip earlier this week). Sounds like you are having a good time and are meeting a lot of wonderful people. Glad you got to relax and enjoy the beach yesterday. Praying for good weather, good health, and safety.
